This tool is up to the task, whether mixing wet and dry components, kneading bread dough, or whipping cream.
What a great little mixer! It’s quite sturdy, and the bowl is a good size and made of stainless steel. Before writing this review, I’ve made a few items with this guy in the last few months. It’s simple to operate, with a simple knob to spin and a simple lever to click up and down to lift the head. The bowl is secured in place. Turn right to unscrew. I do have to remove the tool before removing the bowl, but this isn’t a big deal. I wish it were taller so that it didn’t go up as much when I was mixing (like this cheesecake recipe from the photographs), but it’s fantastic for the price and looks! And it’s amazing! I’ve made conchas several times now, and the dough hook is great! They don’t have a cheap feel about them. After approximately 10 minutes, you can feel the machine getting a bit warm on top, but it’s nothing to worry about. The power is appealing. It isn’t very weak, but it isn’t as powerful as others. It’s perfect for the task!
I’ve even made whipped cream, doughnut frosting, and shredded chicken! This mixer, in my opinion, is ideal for beginners or casual bakers. Even as a general-purpose utensil in a traditional kitchen.
The color and design are lovely. It’s a wonderful, less expensive alternative to the real name brand, but don’t expect it to work miracles. I tried making bread dough as soon as I got it. It began to smell like burnt plastic after only 2 minutes. It was unable to combine the dough. I felt it was going to burst since it was straining so hard. The fragrance became unbearable, so I turned it off and completed the dough without it. Hopefully, it will turn out better with a thinner batter. Not for bread dough.
