If you own a Bluetooth earbud, you’re probably wondering how to clean AirPods. I’m sure your AirPods are now showing evidence of dirt, crumbs, or any other substance that got on them while you were exercising. How do you get all of this off of your AirPods? There are two ways to do it. The quick and dirty method, and the gentle method.
The quick and dirty way is what we will be talking about here. All you have to do is take all of the dirt and grime that are on your earbuds and simply rub it all off with a toothbrush or cotton buds. You want to use a soft cloth for this because anything that is too hard or scratches the earbuds can actually damage the earbuds. Another thing you want to make sure you do is apply some sort of sealer so that the earbuds stay in your ears forever.
When you’re done cleaning airport the next step is to gently wipe them down with a clean and soft cloth. Again, you will want to apply some sort of sealant so that all of the dirt stays in your ears. To clean the cloth, you will want to dampen the cloth and then dip it into some water or a spray bottle full of cleaning spray. Simply spray the cloth down and then let it dry.
The next step is to take a q-tip or a damp piece of paper and apply some disinfect airpods. After that you will repeat the same process as the first one for about 20 times. The purpose of this disinfecting is to kill any bacteria or germs that are left behind on the earbuds. If the item has been used before, it may not have been properly disinfected and that can mean you’re left with germs and other harmful substances in your ears.
As an alternative to the disinfecting method, another method of cleaning airpods is to put the main body of the item into a cup of warm water and mix it up until it gets really warm. Once it’s heated, then you will simply wipe it down with a soft towel or an old sock. The main body should be removed and then washed. This cleaning method will work if the item has never been used before but is less likely to work if the item has been used before because it might still contain some elements from the previous owner’s care. If you find that it has been used before, you can still follow this same procedure to get the main body clean.
After you have cleaned the airport and the main body with water or something else that is warm, you will want to remove any of the dust or dirt particles that are inside. To do this, you will need to either open the earbud area of the earphones, or use a small cloth and take it apart carefully. You will then want to look for any dirt inside the earbuds themselves. To get the dirt out of the earbuds, you should first pull on the earbuds inside. This can usually pull all the dirt out of the earbuds, making it easier to completely remove them for cleaning.
A cloth with alcohol is also good for removing any of the excess earwax or wax that may remain in the earbuds or the headphones. If the earbuds have metal wires, then you will need to pull these out as well. Once you have removed all of the dirt and grime from these devices, then you will simply want to wipe the headphones down with a soft dry towel.
